ok so I googled this… spaghetti ice is vanilla ice cream extruded through a pasta press to look like noodles. its a German thing somehow.
Thank you. I was about to ask why anyone would eat Nutella and cold spaghetti.
This is a newer variant. There is all kind of versions nowadays. But the original is vanilla ice, whipped cream, strawberry, chopped white chocolate and chopped almonds. And it is 100% the best way to eat ice cream.
It is really a german only thing? You guys are missing out a really good thing.
how is it better than just ice cream? what do you use for meatballs? do you eat it with a fork or a spoon? do you try to make your spaghetti look loke ice cream too?
Somehow, the presentation just makes it taste better.
Usually it’s served with strawberry sauce and grated white chocolate to resemble Spaghetti Napoli with parmesan since spaghetti with meatballs is more of an american thing.
It’s sorta airy so you just eat it with a spoon
What’s the German name for this?
Spaghettieis
spaghetti eis
Reminds me of dippin dots for some reason
Did it have a center of half frozen whipped creme?
Oh yes. I don’t like whipped cream that much, but half frozen whipped cream is delicious.
It’s the best. I had a carbonara last time (Krokant and eggnog sauce), fantasic
That looks like it’s from Zanoni and Zanoni in Vienna.
Americans call this a small dessert.
