Pretty good selection of playables in both of these, even if EA3 feels a touch underwhelming on cards needed for Pioneer.

The lands, Chord, Xenagos, Wurm, and Sylvan Scrying should all see play right away and Voice and DRS are good cards that should be fun in Historic too. Lack of delve spells again is disappointing, Treasure Cruise or Dig Through Time would be so easy to add! There must be some strange technical issue with delve.

HA7 has some fun ones too, the lands are very playable and the titans are fun. Clique and Giver of Runes should see play? Wish we got Stoneforge Mystic finally.

They always seem to make these difficult for me to decide between buying and crafting! I’d love them all to brew with but the number of cards I “need” make the calculus tough. Rares do seem high though,16 in EA3 and 15 in HA7 is pretty healthy.

FWIW the lands in EA3 see literally 0 play in competitive Pioneer. I think they’re used as budget options which isn’t a concern on arena.

Ah yeah you’re totally right, for some reason I read them as the Deserted Beach cycle. Obviously those are already in Arena though 🙃

Honestly, main thing I’m disappointed in is the art they chose for [[Sword of Fire and Ice]]. I like the other art way more.
