I think in the show it was an 8-track tape but I have a shitty memory and only watched it once.
If you don’t count any system that is predicated on the degree of exploited labor (underpaid/overworked, child labor, and slavery) Then yeah, a functioning economic system hasn’t ever been seen in U.S. history… not really compatible as there will always be exploited labor under capitalism.
