I was never a big Pokémon Go guy, although I dabbled for a while. I’m really curious about Monster Hunter Now, though…did anybody get into the first beta? I did not.
I was pretty into Pokemon Go a while back and at least for me, the game was much better/worse depending on how densely populated of an area you lived in. Urban > Rural. I’m not sure if MHN will be like this too. But if it is, you’ll enjoy the game more in a city-like area.
at the very least they are touting the feature of “saving” monsters to hunt later so you don’t have to be actively outside while fighting. So, depending on how it works, you can save up stuff to do while in the denser areas.
me and some friends were playing Pokemon go for a while and going out on community days and shit. it was a fun little distraction most of the time. open the app when I’m just waiting around for something; “oh I wonder what’s around here?” I never spent a dime and it was fun for what it was.
all that being said, I’ll give this monster hunter a shot.
