I would expect they will assume most people have forgotten everything and fill in a lot of gaps if/when important.
I’m guessing Magneto is taking over the school and being forced to learn to cooperate with humanity.
He’ll have to convince people he already convinced humanity was the enemy, that they are in fact allies.
