This kinda makes it look like the ship is going to strike the support pillars. Art imitates life.
Maybe the MAERSK was just trying to recreate this art until they realized the art was an illusion, and reality is a lot more messy

I am wondering why it’s curved. I’m assuming because the land underwater has height changes.
This is a very pertinent piece given what happened with the bridge and the ship in Baltimore yesterday.
