Time flies.
This weekend marks an extremely important milestone in the world of Xbox, as Phil Spencer will be celebrating 10 years as the head of the brand on Sunday, March 31st. Yes, it’s really been that long now!
Spencer famously took on the job as Xbox boss following a rough Xbox One launch and the subsequent departure of former head Don Mattrick, and ended up becoming a beloved figure for Xbox fans over the coming years.
I feel like Spencer cares a lot more about gaming and Xbox than Don “Meal Gill Solid” Mattrick did. That guy was such a stiff suit with zero personality. He seemed like the kind of guy who fell into success but didn’t actually know his way around problems.
Imagine paying to use your own internet connection to play multiplayer. Hard pass.
And that has what to do with the article? Why waste time coming here just to spread ill will?
He’s gotta marsturbate his ego somehow, I guess
I mean, you’re paying to use Xbox Live services. Their built in voice chat, their built in matchmaking servers, etc. Those services are actually pretty good for what they offer. Servers and online services cost them money to operate, I am cool with paying to use those services.
