This is not a “great” movie – it covers a lot of the same ground as Blade Runner and Asimov. But it’s a pretty good movie if you like depictions of cyberpunk worlds.
And it has some of the best-sounding human-android dialogue I’ve heard in a movie. A lot of shows just make androids sound like humans (Blade Runner, Rebel Moon) or nerdy humans in particular (Data in Star Trek, C3P0). This movie has androids that actually sound like consumer appliances that reason.
I really like the parts of this movie in the cyberpunk city, but a good chunk of it takes place in the wasteland and then I start losing interest…
Overall a good movie though!
