Weird picture, but I have been totally nerding out over this eclipse since my house in the totality band, and the clouds in the forecast do indeed have me anxious. It’s more like a “my team is losing in the playoffs” level, though.

I do know a lot of places have been expecting a bump to the local economies from this, and if it becomes obvious that those places will have shit eclipse viewing, it could be a disappointing day for multiple reasons.

“My kid is freaking out and yelling ‘KOBE!’ when he shoots the basketball because of the solar eclipse! Is Kobe some new sun god these woke heathens are making our kids worship in schools instead of JESUS?!?”
