      If conservatives stood for anything they claimed to. They should support it. The problem is, there’s only one core, unshakable tenant of conservatism everywhere in the world. Selfishness, bigotry and hate. A tenant they loudly, performatively denounce as they engage in it.

      To be fair, it’s a concept EVERYONE should support. Nobody expects conservatives to support it, but they should.
