Considering that he’s ex-Fidesz, I really do have to wonder if he’d just be more of the same. Is he just an opportunist who sees an opening but wouldn’t actually change anything, or is he really a potentially good candidate?
My feeling is that even if he’s exactly as bad as the previous guys, in 10-20 years time if we look back, it’s still better to have had two shitty governments where one was ousted than the same thing for 30 years. It shows that governments are not invincible.
And what have we got to lose I guess?

TBH I am not sure exactly what’s happening either. Guy jumped out of FIDESZ, published some dirt on the leadership, and now is leading a sizeable number of people, and my hunch is it’s just because since every politician hates him, people see him as an ideal protest candidate.
