Just stopped by to mention Ken Oh. I put so many quarters into Shinobi at my local bowling alley in the 80’s.
That was my first and only stand up arcade that i almost beat.
Haha, hell yes. I can’t imagine anyone beating that in the arcade. I’ve done it on MAME a bunch of times and can’t imagine the cost at $0.25 a try.
Well they were mom’s quarters. Yeah i ended up with the ROM so i can relive it on mame. Beat it finally on mame but only got to the last boss on the stand up arcade version.
