    Idk seems like a serious overreaction. And i don’t think the labor laws here allow a instantaneous firing for that.

      in order to hang his painting he allegedly drilled two holes into the gallery wall, prompting the museum to file a criminal complaint for wilful damage to property.

      Pretty sure the labour laws allow for firing in the case of criminal acts. Whether it deserves to be classified as that is another issue

        The question is if it is classified as such. If it goes to court this will probably be questioned.

        But it being idiotic from both parties ist true anyway, a Warning Would have been enough.
