Fun rebus puzzle with good fill. Bottom right corner was difficult to crack though.
I figured out the trick in the top two but it still took me a long time to get it to work on the lower two themed clues. It didn’t feel super satisfying when I eventually got it, but I think that was just frustration with the time it took.
Also how do I post hidden spoilers in the Memmy app?
Not sure about spoilers on Memmy. I’m just using the mobile website for now.
I swear I’ve seen LETT before and gotten tripped up by it. I thought there was some blowback against using that name in the past, but I can’t really find it on a casual search.
Overall a fun rebus puzzle.

Brutal for me. Had to take the L and lose my 1 day streak yet again. Only found out about the rebuses by watching a Twitch streamer complete the crossword.
“Check puzzle” seems to be borked for rebuses. I can’t fix my answer for EDDIEBAUER. Resetting the crossword does not reset the checked answers.
Yeah, Thursday can feel impossible without knowing the little tricks or rebuses that they use. It’s very satisfying once you start to recognize them.
Rebuses in NYT allow you to put in the full rebus or just the first letter of the rebus.
For EDDIEBAUER, it also would accept EDDBAUER. So what you have is correct.
Ahh gotcha.
The now-mismatched DIE and D irk me…
