    I feel like this has changed so much. When I was a kid (shit, I’m sounding old) my parents would send me outside with the rule that I had to be home when the street lights came on.

    Now, I doubt many parents would suggest that their kids walk “into town” by themselves. It is perceived as being too dangerous.

      LOL we are getting old. Same for me, my buddy and I would ride our bikes all day and all over the place. Sometimes traveling miles and miles, where we’d have to really push it to make it home on time.

        For suburban kids growing up, having a bike was true freedom. Got up to all sorts of mischief
