    for anyone who doesn’t know, tornado sirens always went off at noon every Wednesday just the test them, y’know, just in case. Very fun

    Edit: This is in Iowa for me!

      That’s interesting. It was always the first Tuesday of the month at 10am where I grew up. I wonder if different states have different test schedules?

      Same thing happens around here in Georgia, but it’s only the first Wednesday every month.

      In France, Sirens are also tested the first Wednesday of the month at noon.

    It means it’s Wednesday, bro. If a tornado hits on a Wednesday it can’t hurt you. Those are the rules.

    On Oklahoma I know it depends on where you are for when they test them. In Tulsa it’s Wednesday at noon. But in Norman it’s Friday at noon (which also marks when you can start setting up for tailgating during football season)
