Isn’t close contact with bats a bad idea, with the rabies risk and I’m assuming risk of other communicable disease?
Rescuers like the woman in this video get preventative rabies shots - otherwise people should absolutely not handle bats.
But what if I think they’re really really cute and wanna? Should I handle a bat then?
