The label “Nazi” is thrown a lot around lately whichever side it is, most probably to lose its meaning & the use of it as a slur only creates more trauma & disarray, hence making sure no consensus can be reached.
Now what kind of precedent does that invite makes you wonder?!
Obviously you’re a fool if not deliberate for reinforcing that narrative.

Context for other people: this batch of communities is the first one I’m moderating, so I’m quite inexperienced when it comes to that. I thought the parent comment was problematic and banned @[email protected], however I almost instantly reversed it since I thought that I shouldn’t ban people over just one problematic comment. I sent the commenter this message to inform them: “fyi: if you receive a ban message, it has been reversed already. I might disagree with what you said, but banning ppl just bc of me disliking a statement is not a practice I want to establish” The way they behave is very reminiscent of a debatebro, arguing in bad faith and acting like they have a ‘gotcha’ moment on me, while not being able to discern shitpost from a debate… -_-

Now to you @[email protected]: first of all thank you for insulting me, calling me regressive, consciously misinterpreting my words and actions as well consciously referring to me in a wrong way, while you yourself want to be addressed with they/them. On top of that, you add some fake psychoanalysis and can’t resist pinning my behaviour to a stereotype. Do you even know what a shitpost is? What memes in general are? Why do you instantly assume a hostile pose and engage in debate mode when you don’t even have a concise opinion to work with? Just assumptions based on a shitpost and a comment, mind you. I won’t do you the favour and engage in active discussion with you.

But just so you and others who read this thread (will keep this up for transparency) know: I am aware of the consequences and costs of war, I wish that humanity never has to experience a world war again. If you however think that a force like hitlerite Germany could have been stopped by peaceful means, by giving them concessions and ignoring their imperialist expansion and genocide, then I’m afraid you are no better than the French, British and later accomplices that allowed (and even encouraged) Poland, Czechoslovakia and Austria to be occupied. I will have you know that when you choose inaction when faced with oppression and call on others to do the same, even defame those who object, you have chosen the side of the oppressor; existing Fascism will not be stopped by anything other than a bullet in the head and education campaigns to prevent it from resurging ever again.

are you only allowed to call ideas or people fascist once it’s too late? I agree to the extent that people with the unfortunate ideology of “anti-fascism” throw the word around a lot, but often they are right (in exposing/labeling those tendencies and their modern derivatives)
