Is your goal to install extensions from the Gnome extensions site?
If so, I remember about a year ago having similar problems. I would up switching to the app “Extension Manager” from flathub and it works really well. I never bothered fixing the browser connector.
It’s not in Pop’s repo as it indicates from that error. It looks like you have to build it from source. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-browser-connector.
Question though - Why don’t you just use the shell integration add-on that already exists? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/gnome-shell-integration/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search
GNOME recommends using the extension manager. The web connection isn’t maintained anymore.
I think in debian based system the name of the connector package is chrome-gnome-shell and if I remember correctly it is pre-installed in pop 22.04
I am assuming this connector you are trying to install is about installing extensions to gnome
Try „sudo apt update“ before trying to install gnome browser connector.
