This is a first time ever seeing a Barn owl in the wild he was in a big silo here in Tennessee… He’s a beautiful owl and would love to catch him while he’s hunting the nearby fields.
In my experience handling barn owls, that one is getting ready to fuck your shit up hahah
Owls already have the strongest grips in the bird world, and barn owls seem particularly feisty.
You would have to reach out for it for it to attack you. Even with falconers gloves it still hurts lol
I know I shouldn’t want to touch it, but I wouldn’t be able to help myself. I’m the type when the waitress says to be careful because the plate is really hot, I always want to touch it to see just how hot it really is. It’s really a miracle I’ve survived so long! 😅
