Yup, you’re going to want at least a tiny keyboard at some point soon.

If too many controls is intimidating in your plugins, either try one but into the DAW like ReaSynth in Reaper which will be basic but still fairly powerful, or something like Decent Sampler which has knobs that do a bit of tweaking but are still most just preset sounds. Many will have ADSR and some basic effects and that’s it.

I know I’ve shared one here before where the owl fell asleep in the end of the lens before. Who could shake that sweet thing out of there to take more photos???

I think a lot of these are ironically when there are a lot of people in the open.

The group that is always at Sax Zim Bog is typically gathered along the main highway and they wait for owls coming to scope out the clearing around the roadway.

Not being alone is somewhat a requirement, since if the person were alone, there wouldn’t be anyone to take the picture of them becoming a perch!

The owls just seem curious what all the hubub is about, not knowing everyone is there for them.

The Aussies have a ton of fabulous owls that other places don’t get, but they have no quirky little Athene genus owls like the Burrow or Little to can their own.

Their next door neighbors, the Kiwis, did import some of these Little Owls from Germany in the early 1900s, so they have them there now.
