People would just wear the same outfit constantly, in the late 1900s all those men you see in suits were usually wearing most of the clothes they owned.

With me, my wife, and three kids, laundry was a whole day even with the washer and dryer.

      In reality:

2 min - Walking to and starting the washer on hot just to ruin our clothes more despite being told regularly that cold and cool don’t actually mean cold or cool unless it’s a tap cold washer because you saw on a video a long time ago that you need hot water for clothes ignoring that cold and cool are still pretty hot… And that was for houses that had very hard water… Unlike yours… But you can’t let him win you swear the laundry feels different when he does it despite needing tens to hundreds of washes to make a difference when not using fabric softeners or realizing hot water ruins certain fabrics so you’re just used to feeling now ruined fabric… despite him using your same settings then switching it to what he normally does and you saying the same thing…

1 min - Moving washer load to dryer

      3 min - Folding clothes

5 min - Folding clothes that don’t need to be folded for young toddlers

3 hours - Using the pile of folded laundry you left somewhere like the living room sofa or coffee table as an excuse to not do more laundry rather than just toss it in their appropriate rooms then saying Ive been doing laundry all day when an entire load takes less than 10 min including folding while your partner is stuck at work also doing the same generally boring menial tasks every day but with only 30 minutes worth of unpaid breaks…

I’m sure it’s a similar vent for many people lol.
