Exoprimal's roadmap reveals a crossover with Monster Hunter, meaning fantasy dinos are on the table

Capcom revealed post-launch plans for their dino-shooter Exoprimal which includes two crossovers with Street Fighter and Monster Hunter.

It all but certainly Anjanath. I mean, he’s just a T-Rex with wings and fire breath.

I’m mainly posting this to warn anyone interested in this game NOT to buy it. This is a gamepass only type of game. I love Capcom, but this one is just a question mark.

I’ve played in all CBT and OBTs and I just don’t know what this is. Its not dino EDF. Its not Dino Crisis. Its not a Lost Planet reboot (when it should be).

And most importantly it is NOT worth $60. I think it may be fun for a while with a XBGP subscription, but even then, I don’t think it lasts long cuz its just…not that interesting, even though it runs well (RE Engine).

I’ll spare a detailed diatribe and just say this is your warning to save mulah.

    Time will tell exactly how good or worthwhile this game will be.

      i hope it finds an audience. But it absolutely never should have had PvP aspects sniffing anywhere near it. It runs well but the gameplay is just kinda mindlessly spammy. I played 1-2 suits that had any kind of deliberate gameplay loop that wasn’t just skill spam. I just don’t get the hook for this. And i loved every minute of Lost Planet. But after your first raptor mega swarm and neo-trex fight, i don’t know what there is to keep playing for.

    I just bought an 8bitdo Arcade Stick and it came with one free month of Game Pass, so I’m planning on trying Exoprimal out with a few friends. However, this game stinks of Anthem, but if nothing more, I’ll at least get to check out Nimbus’ thiccness. 😁

    But yeah, roadmap, battlepass… I’m just waiting for day one performance issues, and an apology.jpg on their twitter account. Honestly, I was never really sold on this one, but then SkillUp said that even he’s unsure about it, and that’s usually a sly way of saying it’s bad without breaking any contracts he might be under.

    Remember kids, never pre-order.

      idk about Anthem but i’ve heard people say that before. I think you’ll likely have the perfect Exoprimal experience with a free GP and friends to play with.
