It makes sense for them to pull the Turbulent squad under CIGs umbrella. It’s been nearly 2 years since Turbulent spun up their PU content building team and they’ve been doing some pretty cool stuff. I’m looking forward to what they can do under direct CIG control.

I wouldn’t be surprised if multiple other studios and/or publishers were looking to purchase Turbulent before CIG did, given the current pace of game developer acquisitions. To some degree Cloud Imperium Games were probably strong armed to make the acquisition, lol.
