Title. My bin overwintered pretty well in my Zone 6a garage, so I’m a happy worm farmer.

      I thought they, and their glue, were supposed to be compostable?

        Definitely not. I bought a truckload of compost a couple of years ago and as I was shoveling into my raised bed, I picked out hundreds of them

          Thanks! We compost a ton at home, and I have seen a few, but I always assumed they were on the top of the pile.

    Not yet. I’ve just restarted my compost after my wife killed the last lot by accidentally contaminating it. I’m planning a worm hunt with the kids in the family on the weekend :)

      Enjoy! My kids get very excited by all the worms and enjoy “feeding” them.

    I don’t flip mine often enough, but I’m always happy to see a bunch of squirmy buds every time I do. I’ve been toying with the idea of intentionally farming worms for castings, but that’s also one more thing on the pile of Things I’d Like To Do
