I heard some stuff a while ago about there eventually being a non-ios theme for voyager, wefwef at the time. Is there an estimated timeline or plan on when that will be available, or perhaps some way for us users to help out with that?

I love almost every about voyager besides the theme. I know Apollo was intended to be ios but I see no reason voyager has to be the same

Reading this question on Android after coming from RiF, my only question is: what are you talking about?

It doesn’t look super-iOS, but it is a clone of an iOS app.

It’s a little hard to describe but the designs of the icons and the shade of blue used are all reminiscent of iOS, it’s basically vibes tbh. The posts, comments and the content is fine but it’s just the menus and icons. It’s really only a minor aesthetic complaint and doesn’t matter that much

I am an Android user and Voyager doesn’t make me feel at all like I’m using an iOS app. I don’t really know what theme you’re talking about.

Yeah it’s not bad, and I don’t really actively dislike it I just don’t love it.

It’s extraordinarily simple to do in the ionic framework, literally just flipping a switch.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the ionic framework?

It’s the basic bricks (the framework) wefwef was built with. It’s a way of building « app » that feels native but are actually websites, with less troubles of adapting to different systems.

In this instance, it’s (almost) just a matter of using an option on the framework to tell it « Now look like an Android app rather then iOS »
