NCAA tourney possible expansion 'not imminent'

Expanding the NCAA tournament field is "not imminent," but the NCAA acknowledged Thursday that it discussed the possibility this week.

Thoughts? I’d rather it go back to 64 before expanding it to 90.

    I don’t mind the play-in games. But any more teams and it would get to be a bit too unwieldy. I think 64 is perfect.

    I’m guessing that it will eventually expand.

    People have thought it was going to get unwieldy when it expanded the last three times. It didn’t.
