I have been waiting forever to make a grot army. All of their vehicles are so cute and pint sized that they are top of my list for armies I want to build and paint.
Right now though Grots have no leaders and don’t benefit from the leaders that the ork faction does have currently(darn you ork keyword!).

Do a ‘counts as’ army! I’ve seen one years back using squid hoppers for choppa orks and Mega Armoured models as Grots in big robot suits.
I have also thought about that! I mainly just want to use the grot vehicles and just need a big mek but “grottified”.
You absolutely should!
A ‘grot’ Mek in a big clunky armoured suit would look awesome.
