Yeah, most customer service jobs don’t let you kill people and get a vacation for it though.
Maybe they should. Retail workers are the real thing line between modern society and utter chaos. (If you don’t agree, think about what happens if they run short of toilet paper, or the hell that is black Friday.)
The trouble is the people the police murder, kidnap, rape, and extort aren’t their customers. They are the people their customers want to control.
