Maybe I watched too many unrealistic crime shows, but I always thought that if you messed up a 900kg cocaine shipment, the cops would be the least of your worries…
Right?! I thought maybe someone dumped some shit overboard or something when I first heard about them washing up. Not “some dude lost almost a fucking tonne of coke off the coast” at that point I’d be hoping to get a conviction. Old mates in trouble one way or another that’s for sure.
It’s not like the cartel can’t get to him in prison. His only hope now is witness protection.
