Magneto’s whole point was that a subset of humans was naturally superior to the rest of humanity and should therefore rule, so he doesn’t exactly get to take the high ground here. Being a victim of fascism doesn’t justify becoming a fascist.
i mean sense the 80’s most writers have kinda steered away from that version of the character.
