This is probably my favourite Shape of Despair album, although there’s stiff competition from Angels of Distress.

There isn’t a track out of place on this album, and the song “The Distant Dream of Life” always gives me chills. I love that they included a re-recorded version of “Written in My Scars” at the end too.
