Do any of you fine people know what might be going on here? Leaves are falling like crazy and the frankly looks sick. The plant did have aphids for a bit but that is taken care of now. The problem began before I noticed the aphids and has continued now that they are gone. I fear the poor thing may be dying.

Sorry if the image orientation is off. I couldn’t seem to get lemmy to recognize which side was up…

Honestly I don’t think your plant looks like any of the nutritional deficiencies I’ve seen before, but take a look just in case it helps you self identify the issue:

What is your watering and fertilizing routine? Are you letting the soil get dry in between waterings?

Not quite. Where I live it is currently quite hot and sunny so watering every day has been a necessity. After about 36 hours the soil is bone try and the plant very droopy. So I water every 24 hours.

I am using a 2-6-9 fertilizer for fruit growth. Before it had chiles I was using a more nitrogen-heavy fertilizer

Do you have other plants affected?

I only have one plant at the moment. But I think, thanks to your nifty chart, the problem is magnesium. It began on the lower leaves. I’ll try some Epsom salts.
