Here in the Colonies/North America/USA there is the Craigslist for locals, the Reverb/eBay (but the shipping of gear for Reverb & eBay is painful), the local ham radio swap meets/ham fests (shout out to https://www.electronicsfleamarket.com/ (AKA eFlea or EFM friends), but I have not had much success. Yes, I have been able to pass some nice speakers off to new homes but there is other gear that needs to move on.

Thoughts/recommendations appreciated - TIA!

I used to sell items on CL deeply discounted to remove friction from the process. Still had too many scammers and people offering insultingly low amounts for wildly great deals. I was just too offended to keep going. Now I figure I’ll either gift items to people I know or give them to family or donate them. I just can’t be bothered to put up with bullshit (and I’m fortunate in my situation to not need to recoup as much as I used to in the past).

    Edit: btw good luck!

Craigslist has worked best for me. Offerup is mainly used by young people who aren’t into HiFi. I was able to offload $1000 worth of speakers over around a week using Craigslist.
