Several soldiers and horses are injured after five threw off their riders near Buckingham Palace and raced through London.
The video of those horses covered in blood and running in center London look so surreal.

Yes, I’m sad for the poor animals and those hurt by their panic but it has a oneiric beauty to it.

There are a lot of horses in London and in the UK in general. There are rules for horse riders in the Highway Code and there are many special paths for horse riders. You see them quite regularly on the street.
Somebody super funny is probably saying something great about this right now. It’s going to be torture waiting for the bugle this week.
