The draft starts tonight. Some pretty good WRs and QBs in this draft and trades to be made that will shake up things in fantasy for sure

All signs point to the commanders drafting Jayden Daniels. Hoping for the best but can’t help thinking about the RG3 era

First round recap, 6 QBs and 7 WRs.

Fantasy-wise, Caleb Williams (Bears) has legitimate weapons with Keenan Allen, DeAndre Swift, and fellow first round rookie Rome Odunze

Jayden Daniels (Commanders) probably won’t put up winning fantasy numbers with his arms his first year but he has the legs to make up for it. For those who take late QB he could be a pick

Marvin Harrison Junior (Cardinals) is probably already a top 12 WR going to the cardinals as their number one weapon

Drake Maye (Patriots) is a wait and see situation for me. They don’t seem too terribly talented and I don’t believe in UNC QBs after Trubisky to be able to elevate the guys around them.

Penix (Falcons) was a huge reach by the falcons IMO but I do like him. It’s probably best for everyone that he be irrelevant for fantasy this year

Malik Nabers (Giants) will be a beast, I am convinced, but can he do it with Danny Devito or Danny Dimes throwing it to him? They may need to trade for Cousins or tank and draft a young QB next year. Draft and hold situation, I can see Nabers having some big games down the stretch, just don’t rely on him to get you anywhere

JJ McCarthy (Vikings) he should keep the other JJ fantasy relevant for sure at least. Don’t think I’d worry about him this year for fantasy though

Bo Nix (Broncos) just joined a full rebuild with Sean Peyton. Maybe he can be a garbage time hero. Don’t think he will have much problem beating out Zach Wilson and whoever else is in Denver.

Brian Thomas Jr, (Jaguars) should become Lawerence’s number one option eventually but he will have to earn his way up the depth chart on the outside with the Jags having Jones and bringing in Davis. Another grab and hold situation

Xavier Worthy (Chiefs) the fastest player in the drafts, the chiefs are still down bad to find the next Tyreke Hill. A bit small bodied at 165 but he gives the chiefs a weapon in the return game and an option to stretch the field next to Hollywood Brown. Could be a grab and hold but I’d expect his rookie contributions to be more Mecole Hardman than Rashee Rice

Ricky Pearsall (49ers) as a pick was actually booed on TV but as a replacement for Aiyuk I think it makes a lot of since. Regardless, I wouldn’t expect much from him this year. Maybe keep your eyes on waivers later in the year.

Xavier Legette, (Panthers) the team sucks. I wouldn’t touch anyone on it with a 10 foot pole unless a desperate waiver play.
