This is false. There have been almost a thousand confirmed human cases of H5N1 over the past 20 years. Not saying the risk of a mutation to make it transmissible between humans doesn’t exist, but there’s absolutely no reason to think that has happened.
There has been only one case, in America. The author did not make that clear.

Another possible route is the cows’ feed, owing to the fairly revolting fact that the U.S. allows farmers to feed leftover poultry bedding material – feathers, excrement, spilled seeds – to dairy and beef cattle as a cheap source of additional protein.
You shouldn’t be eating commercially raised cattle, bird flu or not.
