Yes! I hope to find more beauty-related content on here, since I really want to leave reddit. But so far all the fediverse alternatives are really heavy on other stuff. feels like a bunch of programmers and linux users on here (which is ok, i am one too), but I really just want to talk about fashion and beauty too!
Reddit was the only place for me to find interesting discussions about things like that without every other post being sponsored or branded content, which is something the internet in general (and social sites specifically) severely lack. I really hope this catches on! :)
THIS. 100%. I need my beauty fix! There’s already more beauty related communities now than 2 weeks ago when I created Lemmylaquerista. Hopefully now that Reddit 3rd party apps have shut down more users will join the fediverse and post content!

Welcome! There are a couple other fediverse nail communities, but this one definitely has the best name. They are all a bit low on content, we have to build them from the ground up by creating our own content!
