There’s been a big push in the last 10-15 years to bring back apples that taste good! I remember being a kid and the supermarkets carried red, yellow, and green. These days even the big box stores often carry Fuji, pink lady, honey crisp, and galas.

Yeah, red delicious is shit. Honeycrisp is my current favorite.

I thought they were named ironically the first time I had one, it was not remotely delicious.
