You’re not wrong, I went to an “Emo” night at the local nightclub where I’m from on Saturday night.

Played all the music from the late 90s to mid 2000s, a real nostalgia trip.

The amount of women who were our age dressed up like they were 15 again was very surreal.

I always wondered why anything like this had to be “dressed like they were 15”.

Why the fuck aren’t adults allowed to exist like this?

Beats me man, I was all for it.

I guess at some point you have to wear a uniform to work and then most people drop off for a professional look.

I have a couple friends who still dress like that on a regular basis when going out, but catching up with then at home they’re usually wearing comfy baggy shirts etc.

Though these people hard in scene etc with either tattoos or piercings or both.

I’m a female metal drummer in my 30s and pretty hard, have a lot of tattoos and dress up when appropriate. But for shopping or lounging or exercising I’m wearing yoga pants and Crocs or sneakers. Sometimes you gotta be hard and comfortable. Lmao.

Well, context mostly. I dress up like a hot goth for clubs and events, but I have to dress like a Normal Person for work…

Same. Luckily it looks like there are cute internet fembois that are filling that spot in society. And I am fully behind it.
