I drybrushed blue and then light grey onto the carapace, but the grey ended up way too heavy. I’ll likely be toning it back down with a blue ink wash. Maybe even a black after that. The flesh parts will be basecoated pink and hit with a diluted purple wash.

Normally I use very little wash, but ‘nids are so greebly and numerous that it makes sense.

Custom bases made from 1 inch wood squares and left over terrain materials. Those will be a bright grey with some red rust wash on the details.
