Got myself Seiko 5 field watch as a starter, the cheapest automatic. Thought I would be ok with minute numbers being bigger than hour numbers but no. Everytime I looked, had to do some mental gymnastics for a second. After a month of this decided to switch it to no numbers at all. Today received the dial, switched it over. Omg, this is so much easier to read.

Thank you! My first one, but I did watch bunch of Marshal’s videos from WristwatchRevival, so I got a bit of confidence that it is possible.

Thank you! It does have a cleaner look, I like it too. That original dial was just too much.

I like the original, but I’m more of a digital watch person 😅- I love that you’ve personalized it! The snk is lovely and some of the mods that people do are super cool

To me it did look kinda cool at first, I agree, kinda complex, almost like a large detailed chronograph. But then, one of the reasons to buy a wristwatch was to avoid looking at the cellphone to see the time. So eventually, the reality hit and it turned out I am so used to large numbers to be hours(from childhood apparently), it’s a habit, an expectation. And those are hard to change. In a way, I gave up coolness for utility :) Thank you for the kind words!

Totally understandable! I have very similar reasons for trading my smart watches for digital casios, and avoiding analog (cause I suck at reading analog watches/clocks lol, it takes me way longer to read than it should)

Casios are great, still have a couple simple ones. Reliable and affordable. Absolutely loved the timer option - 2 pushes left bottom button, 1 time right bottom one, 15 minutes rice timer is started in a second and without unlocking the phone :)

That’s really cool, I didn’t know you could replace the watch face easily. The one you installed looks slick
