What will actually decide 2024?
The dance between of young voters (not very young, any one 18-40) and Joe Biden. This has been Joe’s game to lose the entire time and all he’s needed to do is an about face on Israel. Its younger (again, not young, but generally younger) voters who decide 2016 by not showing up for Hillary, and '20 by showing up against Trump (and '22).
Biden has positioned himself miserably and keeps, well, making it worse. I don’t see the protest left backing down on this one. Its now how these things go, and we got good and practiced during the anti-Trump/ BLM years. There is generational knowledge on how to protest engage in this kind-of activism that had died out in the post occupy years.
TLDR; ignore the new republic. Just hot take horse crap with no real analysis backing it. The interplay between candidates and demographics will decide this election (like it always has/ does).
