Yes, but also as dumb as it is, being a Jew is the only significant shield against antisemitism accusations.
I mean, Bernie has still been accused of being an antisemite for being critical of Israel’s actions, but it slid off him.
It’s dumb how the media and public opinion work, where you’re only “allowed” to comment on controversial racial/religious topics if you belong to the group. But it’s how it works.
It’s also why Biden has to tread very carefully.
