I’ve just checked fact-checked myself and apparently Canada also says aluminum but 🤷
it’s like when someone posts a screenshot or comment about a game, in a general community, but doesn’t say what game it is.
but anyway further down the article it mentions facilities in Kentucky and South Carolina, plus DOE talk gives it away to US earlier on.
Grist is a US website. Though admittedly they use a .org domain and thankfully don’t sprinkle their site with star-spangled banners.
The economics unfortunately currently still work against these types of plants in many cases. Let’s hope the IRA provides enough backing that this projected plant can actually go into production.
