Joplin for Android is almost perfect for me! Windows app changes to dark mode following system theme, but Android does not. There are night themes, but they take 3-4 clicks to switch. There have been requests over the years to make the toggle a little easier to reach but seems like not a priority. https://discourse.joplinapp.org/t/easier-night-mode-switching-in-android/20874

I even tried to use Darq with Shizuku to theme the app, but doesn’t seem to work for Joplin. Sigh, maybe someday Joplin for Android will follow system theme and then it will be perfect :)

Thank you for searching first before asking and linking to your findings!

Indeed would be a cool feature 👍

Do you toggle your dark mode a lot? My phone lives on dark mode so I don’t really care if it took a few clicks to set it that one time.

However, if you only have it on dark at night, I can see that the switching inefficiency would get annoying quickly.

I agree that automatic (but with an override) would be the best way.

I have most apps set to turn dark at sunset and light at sunrise (set by the system). It would be nice if Joplin followed system theme, but even if it just took less taps that would be great
