Is it, though? If you haven’t upgraded in a few years, and you’re running an older processor in an AM4 socket where you’ll see a noticeable performance boost, it’s probably time to upgrade more than just the CPU. Those prices would have been very attractive two years ago, but today it just feels like polishing soft apples.
I’m still on a computer that is seen as old I guess but I’ve upgraded the graphics card and the memory over the years. It still feels as fast as it always has. Of course I’m on Linux, not Windows with its eternal slowness.
I want to upgrade the cpu too but there is no point really. Everything is fast already.
