I think my starting word is putting me into weird situations a lot.
Do you usually use the same word?
I’ve been using the same starting word for most games since I lost one 2 months ago. I’m developing a strategy that hopefully never loses yet still tries to get decent results, and that requires knowing the best follow-ups to the most common situations my starting word can get me into. Prior to this, I used to play a different viable starting word every day, discovering bad ideas the hard way.

According to Wordlebot my first guess wasn’t good – had about 1,000 possible words left. Third guess was great – had just 1 word left after it.
