It doesn’t correspond to post result. Until yesterday it counted upvotes on posts, now it is some weird number. Is there some system to it?

There’s a Lemmy bug that seems to reset user counts on upgrade.
It’s also inconsistent between apps (you can check Voyager and Connect if you’re on Android), and if you check mine it would probably be different from what I see. Personally, I’d like it to stay that way. The reddit karma system has its pros, but imho it doesn’t outweight the negatives.
It shouldn’t be different between apps- but it likely will be different between instances.
I agree. It’s strange. Anyone who has both those apps should check since that’s what I see. I don’t have the others.
My count got reset yesterday for no reason.
