It was one of those few 3rd party Apps that still worked. Apparently dev was in talks with Reddit in obtaining Paid-API-Access, but now they cut off his API-Access mid talks without informing him

    They want to kill all 3rd party apps. It was the goal from the start.

      It’s all about those fucking advertisements the official app is plagued with.

      Gotta get that $$$$$

      *and why links REALLY can’t be posted to vendors by users or posts w/individual to individual trades on Reddit. They want to charge for that stuff eventually I’m sure.

        As someone who used the official app for a long time and eventually gave up on it, it went from ads every 12 posts to ads every 4 posts

    God it will feel so good when this whole debacle eventually bites reddit in the ass. They handled this so arrogantly and I truly believe they pissed off the wrong users.
